We’re seeking a Technical Project Manager (TPM) to lead offshore teams in delivering cutting-edge AI/ML and software projects. This role blends technical oversight, Agile project management, and client collaboration, with a strong focus on integrating AI/ML into scalable, cloud-based solutions.
The ideal candidate brings experience in offshore project management, familiarity with AI/ML technologies, and hands-on knowledge of modern development practices (e.g., web development, APIs, AWS). You’ll guide teams, shape AI initiatives, and engage with global clients, with support from specialized engineers and data scientists.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Client Collaboration
- Lead multiple AI and software projects with offshore teams, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, aligning technical solutions with business needs.
- Facilitate sprint reviews, status updates, and client calls using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
Leadership & Team Growth
- Mentor and scale engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Support team performance reviews and technical skill development.
Technical Oversight & AI/ML Integration
- Provide guidance on frontend (React.js/Angular) and backend (.Net Core/Node.js) development.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists and ML Engineers to integrate and deploy AI/ML models.
- Leverage MLOps practices to streamline AI pipelines and ensure production-ready solutions.
- Oversee AWS cloud deployments, focusing on scalability, cost efficiency, and security.
Risk Management & Delivery
- Identify and mitigate project risks, tracking KPIs like delivery timelines and sprint velocity.
- Resolve issues proactively to keep projects on track.
Stakeholder Engagement & Pre-Sales
- Present project roadmaps and technical insights to executives and clients.
- Support pre-sales with estimations, proposals, and scope definition for AI-driven projects.
Key Requirements
Technical Skills
- Must-Have:
- Experience managing software projects with frontend (React.js or Angular) and backend (.Net Core or Node.js) components.
- Knowledge of AWS cloud services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and deployment tools (e.g., AWS SageMaker).
- Nice-to-Have:
- Hands-on coding experience in Python or Scala.
- Exposure to big data tools (e.g., Spark, Kafka) or databases (SQL, NoSQL).
AI/ML Experience
- Proven ability to oversee AI/ML integration into products (training and deployment experience is a plus).
- Basic understanding of AI ethics and governance principles.
Project & People Management
- 5+ years leading offshore development teams in an Agile environment.
- Strong English communication skills for client and team interactions.
- Experience scaling teams and managing multiple projects concurrently.
Risk & Compliance
- Ability to anticipate and resolve technical/operational risks.
- Familiarity with compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, SOC2) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications (Optional)
- Certifications like PMP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or AWS Solutions Architect.
- Exposure to AI/ML certifications (e.g., AWS Machine Learning Specialty).
